The company was established in 2000 by owner Paul Wade. Prior to starting the company, Paul had worked as a mechanic at three UK Land Rover main dealers, so he has extensive, first-hand, expert knowledge of the whole range of Land Rover vehicles.
Since its launch in 2000, the company has grown modestly, employing a small team of dedicated and experienced mechanics to cope with demand.

Peter joined Paul at Moorside 4×4 Ltd. over 10 years ago, before which he served his apprenticeship at Moorside Landrover in Pickering (now Hatfields) and went from there to work at Hunters in Tadcaster (formally Armstrong Massey). Shane has been with Moorside 4×4 Ltd. for 4 years. Both are a huge asset to the company.

The workshop facility currently has three vehicle servicing bays with plans to add two more in the near future, along with a number of vehicle technicians to handle increasing workloads. Although Moorside 4×4 remains a relatively modest outfit, in comparison to the main dealer outlets, we ensure we keep up-to-date with the current technology available, including; Autologic diagnostic equipment, the JLR EPC online parts catalogue and Land Rover Topix workshop manual, which includes OSH (online service history), all of which are essential for maintaining todays modern Land Rover vehicles. And you can rest assured all our work is carried out using approved parts as not to affect the manufacturers warranty.

It is vitally important you keep up-to-date with your vehicle service schedule. Not only to validate the manufacturer’s warranty but for your own piece of mind that your car runs and responds correctly. Moorside 4×4 Ltd can service your vehicle and record all details in your service book and send reminders when the next service is due.
We carry out seasonal/holiday checks on all models of Land Rover vehicles, such as checking; fluid levels, tyre conditions/pressures and topping up anti-feeeze, giving you peace of mind that your vehicle is equipped for a harsh winter. We also can replace tyres and exhaust systems for you if necessary.
Moorside 4×4 Ltd can check and prepare for your MOT. We can also arrange the testing. Should your vehicle require any work or parts to obtain an MOT pass, we will inform and quote you first.
